Paulina Carcach Studio is a full-service interior design firm offering ground-up builds, full-scale renovations, and comprehensive furnishing and décor services. Working in close collaboration with architects and builders, from architectural details and finish selections to furnishings, fabrics, accessories, and custom details tailor-made for each client’s unique living space.

MEET PAULINA
/ JOURNEY
Paulina's rich cultural background profoundly influences her design philosophy. She was born in Guanajuato, Mexico—a region known for its vibrant colors, historic architecture, and artisanal traditions. Her mother, originally from San Francisco, often brought the family back to the Bay Area to visit family and friends, sparking an early connection to the city’s layered design sensibility and diverse culture. That connection deepened when Paulina moved to San Francisco to pursue her degree in Interior Architecture and Design. It was here she met her husband, built a family, and laid the foundation for what would become her design practice.
Paulina integrates her heritage and global perspective into every project, blending craftsmanship with a clean, modern aesthetic.
After finishing her undergraduate degree in Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art University San Francisco in 2006. She went on to work for venerable design firms and architects, where she worked on high-end residences and hospitality projects, including developers and operators such as Four Seasons, Fairmont, Yellowstone Club and Montage. Paulina’s projects have been recognized for design excellence by the AIA and IIDA receiving local, regional, and national Honor Awards.
